Facilities

We are located inside Broken Cross Methodist church in the large church hall.

Our space is light and airy with ample room for the children to play and explore.  While the space is loosely divided into themed areas the children are able to move freely around the room.

Our resources are primarily at child level ensuring they can choose what they would like to play with.  We are actively moving towards a more child-led model and would currently consider ourselves 80% child-led with 20% adult-led to encourage the fulfilment of any gaps that we have identified.

Our best kept secret is our large and secure outside space, boasting luscious foliage, a custom built sandpit (constructed by our very own staff), mud kitchen and home-made water wall. Our children have the ability to free flow from indoor to outdoor whilst remaining in a safe contained environment.

Our children love to explore with freedom whether they want to climb like Spiderman on the climbing frame, dig for treasure in the sand pit or cook up a storm in the mud kitchen.  We are also very lucky to be able to plant and harvest our own fruit and vegetables, which we then enjoy at snack time.
